GENERAL SPANISH COURSE LEVEL A1

1. JUSTIFICATION OF THE COURSE:

The CFER A1 level Spanish course is essential to provide students with the necessary foundation in vocabulary and grammar, enabling them to communicate in everyday situations. This level is the gateway to the language and is essential for those who wish to learn Spanish and immerse themselves in Spanish-speaking culture.

2. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

  • Basic Vocabulary Development: To expand the student's vocabulary in everyday contexts, such as greetings, numbers, days of the week and common objects.
  • Oral and Written Comprehension: To develop the ability to understand and answer simple questions in Spanish, both orally and in writing.
  • Elementary Oral Production: To enable students to express simple ideas, such as introducing themselves, describing objects and places, and ordering in restaurants.
  • Fundamental Grammar: To introduce essential grammatical concepts, such as present verb tenses and basic sentence structure.
  • Cultural Awareness: To provide an overview of Spanish-speaking customs and culture, preparing students for respectful communication in Spanish-speaking environments.

3. CONTENTS:

The contents of this course have been distributed in different modules according to the book "Vitamina A1" by Editorial SGEL. In order for the training actions to be adjusted to a specific number of hours, these sub-levels can be generated.

Sub-level A1.1 Modules 1 and 2 (30 hours).
Sub-level A1.2: Module 3 and 4 (30 hours).

MODULE 1: 15 hours.

  • Unit 2. Study Spanish.

MODULE 2: 15 hours.

  • Unit 3. My loved ones.

4. WHO IS IT FOR?            

The CFER A1 level Spanish course is aimed at beginners with no previous knowledge of the language, providing a solid foundation for basic communication in everyday situations.

5. ADMISSION. LEVEL TEST

It is not necessary to take a CFER A1 level test as this is an introductory level. In the event that a student decides to enrol in the course once it has started, the Academic Coordination will assess the need to establish a series of private reinforcement classes in order to ensure that the student's incorporation into the group is satisfactory.

GENERAL SPANISH COURSE LEVEL A2

1. JUSTIFICATION OF THE COURSE:

A Spanish course at CFER A2 level is essential for students who wish to develop stronger communicative skills in Spanish. It provides the ability to participate in more complex conversations, understand longer texts and immerse oneself in Spanish-speaking culture. This basic level is crucial for advancing language proficiency and improving academic and professional opportunities.

2. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Vocabulary Development: Expand vocabulary for basic conversations and comprehension of simple texts.
Oral and Written Comprehension: To understand simple conversations and texts in everyday situations.
Fundamental Grammar: Master basic structures such as present and simple past tenses.
Elementary Speaking: Communicating on everyday topics, such as ordering food or giving directions.
Cultural Awareness: Introduction to basic Spanish-speaking culture for respectful and contextual communication.

3. CONTENT:

The contents of this course have been distributed in different modules according to the book "Vitamina A2" by Editorial SGEL. In order to adapt the training to a specific number of hours, these sub-levels may be generated.

  • Sublevel A2.1 Modules 1 and 2 (45 hours).
  • Sublevel A2.2: Module 3 and 4 (45 hours).

The CFER A2 level Spanish course is aimed at beginners who wish to establish a solid foundation in the Spanish language in order to communicate in everyday situations and understand simple texts.

5. ADMISSION. LEVEL TEST

In order to be enrolled in this Spanish course at level CFER A2, it is necessary to have a level of Spanish A1 (DELE, SIELE or similar) or to take a level test at La Rioja Spanish School, the results of which recommend that the student should start learning at this point.

This intermediate level is crucial for advancing language proficiency and improving academic and professional opportunities.

2. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Vocabulary Development: Expand lexical repertoire to discuss diverse topics and participate in enriching conversations.
Oral and Written Comprehension: To understand and synthesise more complex texts and follow detailed conversations.
Fundamental Grammar: Master intermediate grammatical structures, such as the use of past and conditional verb tenses.
Fluent Speaking: Ability to hold coherent conversations and express opinions in a more detailed and precise manner.

Cultural Awareness: Deepen understanding of Spanish-speaking culture, allowing for richer and more respectful communication in a variety of contexts.

3. CONTENTS:

The contents of this course have been distributed in different modules according to the book "Vitamina B1" by Editorial SGEL. In order for the training actions to fit into a given number of hours, these sub-levels can be generated.

  • Sub-level B1.1 Modules 1 and 2 (60 hours).

In order to be enrolled in this Spanish course at CFER B1 level, it is necessary to have an accredited level of Spanish A2 (DELE, SIELE or similar) or to take a level test at La Rioja Spanish School, the results of which recommend that the student should start learning at this point.

  • Advanced Oral and Written Comprehension: Understand complex discourse and texts in different contexts.

In order to be enrolled in this Spanish course at CFER B2 level, it is necessary to have an accredited level of Spanish B1 (DELE, SIELE or similar) or to take a level test at La Rioja Spanish School, the results of which recommend that the student begins his/her learning at this point.
